“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.” ― Robert Frost
My life gets a little crazy sometimes. I have outlets to release stress and hobbies that make me happy. Sometimes all there is to do is just keep breathing. And guess what: life goes on.
I have three blogs (just because!), so I use them for different purposes. This one is for the mundane occurrences in life, the things that are really special to me, writing, photography, and just my life in general. Rule Number 32 is for the little things that make life awesome, my book obsession, things that make me happy, and my creative side. Adventuretta is all about my travels and adventures, both big and small. I think that we’re really good at storing photos and thoughts and stories with all of the technology we have now, but I want to do more than just store them – I want to present them in a way that makes them memories that are special for me years from now. And if other people can look at pieces of this and be happy, then that’s even better.
I am definitely not an expert when it comes to taking photos. I like to think that I have an eye for detail and I love using angles and lighting to take great photos. I have a horrible memory, so I use photography as a means of remembering the big and small moments of my life.
Participating in the Photo 365 project has made my life so much more awesome. It is such a challenge to find something to capture every single day, especially when most of my week consists of sitting in a classroom and doing homework. But I make do! Not at all my pictures are super spectacular, but they show what my life is all about, and I suppose my life isn’t super spectacular either!
These are a few of my photos that I have taken for this awesome project:

Nature
I love taking photos of nature – being outside is one of my greatest pleasures in life.
Hiking at Beaver Creek, such beautiful scenery.
Thanks Saskatchewan. ❤️
I went hiking at Cranberry Flats, one of my favourite beautiful places.
Lovely lilacs at Patterson Garden.
My Dream Job
I am going to be a veterinarian and have made a page about my journey towards my lifelong dream. Check out all my cute animal pictures!
Dory was my favourite calf in my nutrition project.
Newt has been a source of happiness for me through the almost 6 years that I have been volunteering and working at the Animal Hospital. Today was my last day and it was quite hard to say goodbye to my favorite granny cat. Thanks to everyone there for teaching me so much and being so awesome. I’ll miss you all!
High five!
This is Murray. He likes sniffing trees, rain and puddles, playing fetch, running towards new people, and pulling on his leash in the opposite direction. He hates loud mufflers and barking dogs that throw themselves against the window. He’s pretty great.
This was my favorite puppy out of the litter of 5. She completely made my week. My day at the Animal Hospital was a great way to wrap up the year.
One of my greatest loves in life is music, specifically country music. I listen to it almost every day, I love going to concerts, and I love the feeling that a great song gives you, again and again.
I try my very best to notice the little things in life, and that was the purpose of creating Rule Number 32. Neil Pasricha (The Book of Awesome) and Zombieland were my inspiration for this.
Reading is my favourite hobby. I use Goodreads so much and I post my reviews on my blog. Some books mean a lot to me and hold a special place in my heart.
Other things that fill my time are TV, movies, food, tea, and plants. I also love crafting and making art. Head over there to check it all out!
Travelling makes me so beyond happy. Our world is big and beautiful and I want to see as much of it as I can. I also love to go on mini adventures because they break up the monotony of everyday life and provide joy that lasts beyond the time of the adventure.
Remember: life is beautiful.
I am excited to see what you do with this page!
